It's been a very ... let's say hectic ... last few weeks.  But we've got some crazy shit brewing this month, and throughout 2010.  So a very brief post on the cusp of / about what I'm predicting to be an absolutely amazing year of Tigerness:

• The Fancy Fiance and I are going to Japan!  Her brother just graduated college last month, and she had promised him a trip to the Tokyo Auto Salon as a graduation gift (because she is an awesome sister).  I'm sort of a the third wheel, but I couldn't care less: I'M GOING TO JAPAN.  I'll have more on this in the coming days. There's plenty to begin preparing for, we really haven't even started, and we're leaving damn soon.
• The Fancy Fiance and I are getting married!  We've been engaged for a few months, but it's actually happening in 2010.  Preparations here have also fallen by the wayside, so plenty more to do the minute we get back from Asia.
• The Then-Wifey and I are looking at homes!  We've been doing research for some time, but we're getting pretty serious in 2010.  Also post-Asia: file taxes and get serious about paperwork preparation.  We really love our little regional nook in Brooklyn, and as stressful as life in this f'ed up city can be, for now at least - and the next few years - it's for us.  And it's going to be really hard to say goodbye to our rented pad of the last 3.5+ years, 123 Awesome Street, but it's getting to be time to move on and grow.

So if you've got any recommendations for Tokyo or Japan, please send them this way; I'd be much obliged.  Funny enough, I'm currently following a friend there now.  In the meantime, I'll be stocking up on various medications to get through the torturous 36+ hours of flight ahead of me.
