Seriously considering another trial through EVE. I just got off a month-long Warcraft kick, and have also been back into some sci-fi books lately. While my first pass at EVE was underwhelming, I'm not sure I gave it a fair enough shot. Or maybe I just need a few hours of trial time to get it all out of my system. Either way, re: graphics - DO WANT.

This is insane and terrifying. I want to think they climb with emergency parachutes on their back - just in case. Then again, I'd like to think our technology has moved us to the point where this kind of dangerous work wouldn't be necessary.
"Ding Ding Ding Ding" gets me every time.
While I don't read fantasy, I do watch the hell out of it on the TV-hole. A Game Of Thrones just popped on my radar recently and I'm immediately excited. Between this and Boardwalk Empire, it might be time to invest in HBO...
Or not.
We watched the MTV VMA's last night. It was mostly terrible. Chelsea Handler - who I generally dislike but whom I gave a lot of leash - was painful to watch (which is fine) and generally unfunny (which is not fine). Most of the performers and "skits" were lame, except for Usher's dancing and Florence's pipes. However, it ended with a bang. 20 seconds of Aziz and a dope Kanye track left the best impression in the end.
